About Us

Building the rails for borderless money.

MRC Global Pay is a Canadian fintech building stablecoin-powered payment infrastructure. We are registered with FINTRAC as a Money Services Business (MSB registration number 100000015) and help businesses send, receive and settle money worldwide using regulated digital dollars.

Our mission

Make international payments as fast, transparent and programmable as sending an email β€” for freelancers, marketplaces, SaaS companies, importers and global payroll teams.

Our Technology

How MRC Global Pay actually works.

We combine traditional banking rails with public blockchain settlement to move value faster and cheaper than the legacy correspondent banking system. Payments settle in regulated stablecoins (USDC, USDT) on audited networks, and convert to local fiat through licensed partners.

Stablecoin settlement layer

Transactions are settled on-chain in fully reserved, fiat-backed stablecoins such as USDC and USDT across networks like Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Base and Tron. This removes weekend delays, intermediary banks and SWIFT fees.

Smart routing & FX engine

Our orchestration engine selects the optimal corridor, network and liquidity provider for each transaction in real time, delivering transparent mid-market FX with no hidden spreads.

Bank-grade compliance

Every payment runs through automated KYC, KYB, sanctions screening and Travel Rule checks. As a FINTRAC-registered MSB, we maintain full AML/CFT controls aligned with Canadian and international standards.

Developer-first APIs

REST APIs, webhooks and embeddable widgets let businesses launch payment links, virtual accounts, on-ramp / off-ramp flows and recurring billing in days, not months.

Self-custody and security

Customer balances are protected with hardware security modules (HSM), multi-signature wallets and SOC-aligned operational controls. Funds are segregated from operating capital.

Global coverage

Pay-ins and pay-outs across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia, including PIX in Brazil, SEPA in Europe, ACH and FedNow in the US, and Interac in Canada β€” all settled through one stablecoin-powered backend.

Frequently asked questions

Is MRC Global Pay regulated?+

Yes. MRC Global Pay is registered with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) as a Money Services Business under registration number 100000015.

What is a stablecoin payment?+

A stablecoin payment is a transfer settled on a public blockchain using a digital token pegged 1:1 to a fiat currency such as the US dollar (for example USDC or USDT). It allows businesses to move value globally in minutes, 24/7, without correspondent banks.

How fast are international transfers?+

Most cross-border transfers through MRC Global Pay settle in under two minutes on-chain, including weekends and holidays. Local fiat pay-out times depend on the destination banking rail.

Which countries and currencies do you support?+

We support pay-ins and pay-outs in major currencies including USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, BRL, MXN and more, across the Americas, Europe and select markets in Africa and Asia.

Do I need to hold crypto to use MRC Global Pay?+

No. Businesses and customers can send and receive in local fiat currency. Stablecoins are used in the background as the settlement rail β€” you never have to manage a wallet or seed phrase.

How much does MRC Global Pay cost?+

Fees depend on the corridor, volume and product. We use mid-market FX with a transparent margin shown before you confirm a transaction. Receiving funds is free on most corridors. For an exact quote, use the Send Money widget on the homepage or contact our team.

How do I get started?+

Create an account at /register, verify your email, complete KYC (or KYB for a business) inside the dashboard, and you can immediately send a transfer, create a payment link, or on-ramp from card or bank.

Is my money safe?+

Yes. Customer balances are protected with Hardware Security Modules (HSM), multi-signature / MPC custody, and SOC-aligned operational controls. Funds are segregated from operating capital and we run continuous compliance and risk monitoring.

Which payment rails do you support?+
